This dynamic group of six talented and seasoned musicians has performed together in their current incarnation for five years. The individual members have worked together in various other combinations for almost twenty years. Their experience together is evident in their tight musical arrangements and vocal harmonies. They feature three lead vocalists, a hot rhythm section, and two smoking horns. They do not use prerecorded or computer generated tracks. The diverse blend of musical interests and backgrounds each member brings to the group makes Brass Tyme one of the most versatile bands around today. Their range makes them particularly useful at festivals and company parties. Not many groups can jump from Patsy Cline to James Brown to Jimmy Buffett, and then to Glen Miller! These guys do that and more, and they do it all well! Their sharp formal attire and ability to perform low key dinner sets make them favorites at country clubs and wedding receptions as well. Brass Tyme provides their own state of the art modular sound system which can be assembled in various configurations to accommodate any venue from a small lounge to a large outdoor event.
