The East Coast Party Band is a high energy act composed of an exceptional group of experienced and hard working musicians who perform a fast paced repertoire of medleys, classics, and originals selected and arranged with the audience's dancing pleasure in mind. The group generates excitement from the moment they take the stage. Founded in 1992 by Jack Tankersley upon his departure as co-leader of The Rivieras, the group was an immediate success. Jack anchors the group's driving rhythm section with his unique bass styling - a kind of staccato funk that just won't let you sit still. With the benefit of thirty years of stage experience, Jack arranged many of the group's popular medleys. Co-leader Mike Shuler on guitar provides the group with excellent arrangements of R&B classics and Shag favorites. Dave Fuller is the wild man on the piano with the signature gravely voice. Jerry Polk on drums shares lead vocal duties with Dave. The East Coast Party Band an also includes one of the most dynamic horn sections in the business!
