The  special bond that audiences form with  The  VOLTAGE BROTHERS  goes  beyond good times and  good  fans.  It  goes beyond the awe over the musical versatility, the wide  range of  singers, the splendid dance routines, and the up-to-the-minute engineering. Many other groups are as accomplished as this.  The  significant difference lies in the gift  of  the VOLTAGE  BROTHERS to change the crowd from passive listeners and  automatic  dancers into people who  project their own energy back to the band.

The  VOLTAGE BROTHERS appear to be two groups with one sound system--even the personnel seems to change from song to song.  Guests are sent from 1920 to 2007 with stops  at  the Cotton  Club  and  the  Country  Club.  They  may  meet  The Temptations,  The  Drifters, James Brown, Otis  Redding, or Elvis.   This group can go from Big Bands to Little Richard. They  can  play the Top 40 for each of the last 20 years or

present  a  living showcase of Black musical forms.  Whether you  "Take  the  `A'  Train" or "Do  the  Wild  Thing,"  the VOLTAGE BROTHERS  will  conduct  you.  Whatever  the  beat,  lyrics, composer, or era; The  VOLTAGE BROTHERS will blend them  into your night of music.

The VOLTAGE BROTHERS began in Rochester, New York thirty years ago.   Originally named "The Destinations", they were  a  home town wonder in high  school.  In the  late 1970's,  following years of travel across country, the  band was  hired  to  tour  with  the Kool  Jazz  Festival.   They

appeared with The O'Jays, Kool & the Gang, Teddy Pendergrass, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Earth, Wind and Fire.

During the mid-eighties, The VOLTAGE BROTHERS received  the

Campus  Entertainment Award.  July of 1990 took the VOLTAGE BROTHERS to   international  audiences   and   recognition

performing  in  Yokohama, Japan.   During  the  1990's,  the

VOLTAGE BROTHERS  appeared with  Frank  Sinatra,  The Temptations  and  The Commodores and many other nationally respected artists.  They have  performed  for such  events  as  the Presidents Dinner in Washington, DC.and the 1996 Olympic Games. In Atlanta. They have also performed  at  five consecutive Super Bowl events, with future dates being scheduled.  These events testify to the quality,  excitement  and talent of THE VOLTAGE BROTHERS.
